Each Single-User license allows for access by 1 (and only 1) Named user. A Single-User license is for a named individual who is identified as the only Authorized User.
The named user may install the Software on up to 3 computers (e.g., home, work, laptop) for his/her personal use, as long as the 1 named, Authorized User is the sole user of the software on all computers. (This provision cannot be used as a mechanism to share the license with unauthorized users.)
A single-user license is not a concurrent-use or shared-use license and cannot be used by multiple individuals, even if the Software is installed and accessed on only 1 computer. A single-user license may not be installed on a computer or network with the intention to share the Software among multiple individuals even if the Software use is restricted to only 1 individual at a time. (A separate license must be purchased for each individual user.)
If the computer on which this Software is loaded is attached to a network, this Software and license must not be accessible by any other user on such network. Single-user licenses may not be installed or used in a virtualized environment in order to or in a manner that circumvents the single-user license type. (When the Software is accessed over a network or on a shared computer, a license must be purchased for each individual user.)
Single-user licenses may not be transferred more frequently than once in twelve months, except when the named user terminates employment at the institution or company.
