It provides the most robust, efficient and highest quality production proven 3D converters, connecting Maya to all other major CAD, DCC and authoring software programs + 3D file formats such as 3ds Max (via PolyTrans-for-3dsMax plug-in system), Lightwave, Cinema-4D,  Softimage (XSI), ACIS SAT, Autodesk Inventor, CATIA v4 + v5, COLLADA, DirectX, DXF/DWG, DWF-3D (AutoCAD, Navisworks, Revit), FBX, IGES BREP solids, JT, OpenFlight. Parasolid BREP solids, PDB, Pro/E (BREP solids), Rhino, Solid Edge, SolidWorks, SketchUp, STEP BREP solids, U3D, VRML, XAML, X3D and just about every other major 3D file format.

Most importantly, Okino does not use reverse engineered CAD modules as is done by others, but rather licenses, utilizes and/or accesses the industry standard CAD geometry engines from Autodesk, Dassault Systemes (CATIA), PTC (ProE), Solid Edge, SolidWorks, Spatial (ACIS solids engine), UGS/Siemens (JT Open toolkit) and others."
 
PolyTrans-for-Maya  is licensed by purchasing the Okino "PolyTrans" base-level program, the DCC/Pack module and one or more optional add-on modules such as the CAD/Pack or Granite/Pack.

  • PolyTrans & NuGraf (for Windows) will also run on a Apple Mac machine using a Windows emulator. It has been reported that they also run on Linux using WINE.
